Note: I originally intended to complete the whole song. However, I am short by around 

50 seconds. The target was one minute, and my animatic last 2:10 (excluding 

the ending credits). Enjoy.

Animatic Research

To the left is the imagery you are given when being shown her results. She looks as if  she likes to perform rather than have music videos that are narrative or conceptual.
She is an english singer-songwriter from the west midlands. She's been around for 2 years and has collaborated with multiple other artists like Stormzy and Drake.

I chose her music because it is slow and will allow me to create a narrative music video and use long and slow-motioned shots of lens-flared nature and out-of-focus shots of distressed and dazed people. Not because of her in-particular.

Animatic Progress

An update as to what decisions have been made.

I have decided to create an animatic for the track: "Where Did I Go?" by Jorja Smith

As of right now, I have not decided how much of the video I will create an animatic plan for (The target is 1 min) but would very much like to do the whole track.

Animatics

Task set by teacher to be completed over the term

Lol sorry, this isn't the final project post. Just the one explaining what animatics are and recognising that it is a task that must be completed.

An animatic is a video or series of images that are drawn or photographed that represent each shot of a video. It is an upgrade of a story board, simular to an animation, but at a basic level with a very low frame rate.

Recording and Editing Techniques

This is me trying out most of the different editing and recording techniques!

Try not to expect too much of a narrative because it was mostly just "Hey, what shot's next? We will record something in that style now."

Its gunna be awesome regardless because not only did I record some of the shots, I'm in some too!! 

Planet Coaster Game-play series!

Demonstrating my ability to create game-play content with screen-recording software.

The quality is pretty shocking but hey thats what you get for trying to push a 2014 mid-range PC into 1080p 60fps on max game settings territory. Hopefully it shows some extra media techniques.

This is a small compilation of my then-recent vines

These vine are absolutely shocking but I find the homework one and witch disguise ones funny. No, I'm not sad just really loud when I'm in the house on my own. Hopefully this demonstrates something to do with editing and the ability to create different types of media (hence the 7-sec-max vines) but to be fair I have no clue what I was doing at the end with all those basses and YES I HAD A COLD but its fine because its so cringyyyy and as you can tell I had a poor idea of teachers at the time. Also I'm not to sure what I was trying to achieve with the random pictures between vines but let's just go with it. About 30 seconds in I realize how good a northern accent sounded with my cold so yeah enjoy.
